Neuroendocannula MIS: a new innovative technique, minimally invasive (MIS) in brain surgery with the use of a cannula during surgery.
Neuroendocannula MIS or Neuroendo Cannula or Neuro - Endocannula is a new method which enables us via a brain incision of approximately 2cm in diameter to accurately remove tumors, hematomas, abscesses and cysts from "difficult" brain areas and with a minimal trauma to healthy tissues. Thus, post-operative neurological deteriorations are greatly minimized.
Neuroendocannula MIS brain surgery has the following advantages:
• direct mobilization of the patient postoperatively,
• fewer post-operative complications,
• shorter hospital stay (1-2 days), and finally
• lower hospitalization costs.
